Job Title: Licensed Therapist / Counselor
(LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) – Private Practice

Peaks and Valleys Therapy, PLLC is a growing, supportive private practice committed to providing high-quality mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. Our approach is compassionate, respectful, and grounded in evidence-based care. We're currently expanding and looking for motivated licensed therapists who are ready to build a thriving practice with autonomy and support.

We are seeking a passionate and licensed therapist (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) to join our team as an independent contractor. This position offers the flexibility to:

• Set your own schedule

• Choose your ideal client population

• Use the therapeutic modalities that best align with your approach

• Whether you're new to private practice or looking to grow your existing caseload, we provide the structure and support to help you succeed—no private practice experience required.

Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy based on your expertise

Conduct intakes, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans

Maintain timely and accurate documentation (HIPAA compliant)

Schedule clients according to your availability

Participate in consultation or supervision as needed

Malpractice/liability insurance

Workers' Comp Exemption Certificate or coverage

Personal admin costs (e.g., phone, email, office supplies)

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field

Active Montana license (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) in good standing

Desire to grow a private practice and provide high-quality, client-centered care

Familiarity or interest in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, EFT, ACT, IFS, CPT, etc.)

Strong documentation and organizational skills

Percentage-Based Pay: Competitive session rates that grow with your caseload and longevity

Business Consultation: Three free sessions to help launch your practice

Supervision: Available if needed
